Changes to my study programme

 hello dear readers

well today i am here to talk about the things i would change in my curriculum, i am in my third year of visual arts so i will talk about my experiences with the subjects i have taken.

As for the first year, in my opinion the subjects that are being developed are good to give a base to the new developing artists.

I particularly think that the form and space programme, which is a subject to understand basic issues of sculpture and composition could do with some changes, as it lacks a bit of theoretical development to balance it with the practical work on models.

as for the academic load, in my opinion it was good, I think that speaking from my experience sometimes there is a time crunch just because of bad organisation as a student.

The bachelor's degree in visual arts has 8 semesters, which is four years, I think it's quite a limited time, they could develop other practices and even add more to the curriculum to specialise even more in the artistic area, for example I would like to continue specialising in photography and I think that one year of learning focused only on photography is too little.

I think it is quite neglected, there are many improvements that could be made, especially in the workshops in the artistic area, it also seems to me quite crazy not to have a kiosk that sells material nearby or at least a printer.

The use of technology from my point of view is quite null, I think it could be used much more, for example we do not learn in photography basic principles of photoshop, because there are no means to have the free program as students, nor technological means where to use them, the computers in the library do not provide much range of tools, I think we have to start to get more involved with these means because they will be the future.

In terms of methods of change, I think infrastructure would be the key starting point, to be able to integrate more space for workshops and better tools in them, and from there to start developing a more comprehensive curriculum aimed at training and educating artists who fully develop their interests by the most optimal means.

My dream job

 hello dear readers

Today I come to tell you about my dream job, as you know I study visual arts and what I would like to be is an experimental photographer, where I could interact with various types of photography such as fashion, events, creative, among others.

I think that for this job I will need different skills but above all I will need to know how to adapt to different work contexts, for example it is not the same to be a wedding photographer than a concert photographer, the atmospheres are different, one more quiet and intimate and the other more public and exalted.

I would like to travel a lot in this work, to learn new styles and forms of photography, to seek out new photographic environments.

as for the salary I would like to have, I am not sure, clearly I would like to earn a lot of money but I think I will be happy if I am paid what corresponds to my talent, in the case of being self-employed I would ask for a fair salary and in the case of working as a dependent I would ask for a fixed salary.

I really hope I can reach my career goal, there is still a long way to go, but I will strive to achieve it.

The best concert

Hello dear readers

Today I come to tell you about my best concert, the youngcister concert, the concert "lo mas xulo", at the movistar arena.

Esteban Cisterna, better known as youngcister, is a singer of the Chilean urban genre, where his music focuses on reggaeton and trap.

The concert was crazy, I was close to the stage where there were a lot of people, it was very suffocating, but I never lost the energy to sing and sing every one of his songs, he even brought guest artists to sing with him.

I was very excited because it was the first time I went to a concert, it was also very special because he is my second favourite artist, I think I enjoyed it because it was a first unrepeatable experience.

I don't have another similar memory, but on the 17th of January I will go to another youncister concert, in this case in a listening party format, which is an exclusive concert to present their next album, something much more intimate.

I hope it will become my second best concert and I will be able to tell you more about it.

A country you would like to visit

Hello, dear readers

Today I am going to tell you about a place I would love to visit, ..... italy, because is my favorite country for its culture and food.

From what I know from programmes like "There's always a Chilean", in Italy they appreciate their culture and art, and they also take care of their heritage.

I would like to eat pasta, lots of pasta, try all the traditional Italian food until you've had enough, and i would like to visit visit the great monuments

It would be a great experience and a great process of intellectual growth, I think I would like to work, study and live in Italy, I would be fascinated to walk and breathe in its streets and see its people.

I also think that my career would help me to make my way in Italy, as it is also the birthplace of many artists

I would also like to go into photography and I think I would have a lot of material to work with.
