Hi, its me again.
Today I am going to talk about a expert in my field, I admire the photographer Irving Penn, photography was understood primarily as a means of communication, he approached it with the eyes of an artist and expanded the creative potential of the medium.
Penn was an American photographer known for his fashion, portrait and still-life photographs. Penn's still lifes are sparse, highly organised assemblages of food or objects. Also was one of Vogue magazine's leading photographers for more than sixty years.
He was also one of the first photographers to pose subjects against a simple grey or white background, and he used this simplicity effectively.
I love his photography and I like his way of thinking, his portraits are impressive, both in terms of his ideas for their execution and the drama that they have.
I would learn from him for future projects, as I love portraits and the way they reflect more than a face, they reflect a personality.
